SLED ISLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL POSTER

Since 2007, the Sled Island Music Festival in Calgary, AB, has been creating an eclectic platform for all sorts of independent musicians, artists, and comedians. As part of their festival, a select group of bands will have custom screen-printed posters made to promote theier show, after being paired up with Canadian artists. 

I was paired up to illustrate for The Screaming Females, a "rough-around-the-edges" punk pop band. As it is screenprinted, there is a limit of colours allowed, as wells as differences in how the layers will sit one on top of the other.
